• Performing day-to-day accounting tasks:
• Invoice processing
• Payment allocation
• Posting bank entries
• Accrual management
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions
• Travel expense management
• Provide support to the internal SAP Team in the areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales tax, banking and payments, payment blocks, and other services
• Support controlling with analysis
• Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Support month-end and year-end processes
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations

• Commercial apprenticeship or a degree in business administration
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and principles, including the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end / year-end close process
• Understanding of commercial processes (order to invoice, procurement, and inventory management)
• Excellent command of MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience in working with SAP, knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is a plus
• Ability to define, analyze and resolve problems related to system issues
• Experience with digital transformation initiatives and process automation
• Strong organizational skills, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritizing work requirements
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Very good command of both English and German required
