Field Engineer (all genders welcome) in the field of Upstream Optimization

Upstream optimization , an innovative division of the Rosenxt Group, which was spun off in 2023 and is dedicated to expanding into new business areas. Our focus is on developing advanced technologies for the optimization of energy production . Our state-of-the-art flow measurement device is a clamp-on non-intrusive system , gathering extensive real-time operational process data. To evaluate this data, we develop cloud-based software solutions that utilize classic signal processing algorithms and artificial intelligence (AI). In our interdisciplinary, agile, and autonomous teams, we foster innovations and customer value.

Aufgaben

• Conduct field measurement campaigns using Rosenxt measurement technologies.

• Attend and coordinate the installation (and demounting) of Rosenxt equipment for field measurement campaigns. The majority of these activities is likely to take place in North America although global travel to other locations such as the Far or Middle East may be necessary.

• Coordinate with Rosenxt data analysts and development engineers to configure the measurement system(s). This could include running diagnostic software applications and downloading data locally.

• Perform comprehensive Job Safety Analysis at the beginning of any activity – this could involve working as a Rosenxt team, or coordinating with operators and service companies at the site.

• Transportation of equipment to the field by car/truck/trailer sometimes in remote Iocations.

• Coordinate with local field personnel during the field work regarding logistics such as set up of necessary facilities for the field measurement e.g. provision of power, cordons or other items.

• Maintain proactive contact with field personnel from operators throughout the field activities to track any issues relating to Rosenxt equipment.

• Interact with production engineers to obtain relevant production data such as well tests or artificial lift information.

• Make troubleshooting trips to field locations where measurement campaigns are ongoing to address any issues.

• Demount equipment from field and pack up ready for transportation.

• Handle logistics such as delivery and pickup of equipment from near field locations. This could include arranging storage facilities.

Profil

To become part of the Rosenxt family, you have an analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working:

• About 5 years of oilfield experience, preferably in production, although experience in completions, drilling, facilities or reservoir engineering will also be considered

• Demonstrable understanding of oilfield operations and well function either through petroleum engineering degree, or field experience

• Hands-on experience of in-field activities relating to the oilfield production, such as well testing, artificial lift processes etc.

• Ability to drive equipment to the field and install measurement equipment/run tests

• Good working knowledge of IT systems and the ability to run advanced data gathering technology in the field

• Ability to run quick in-field data analysis to check system function and preliminary result analysis

• Willingness to travel and run field tests across the world

• An interest in technology, and awareness of current trends such as machine learning and AI

• Good communication skills, and ability to engage with field service personnel especially in North America
