We are looking for

International (Senior) Manager – US Tax Desk (m/f/d) // Munich

• Advise national and international clients on a broad range of US and international tax matters
• Interpret and apply international tax treaty provisions
• Provide estate and gift tax planning services for German individuals with US assets
• Develop tax-efficient structures involving Passive Foreign Investment Companies (PFICs) and Controlled Foreign Corporations (CFCs)
• Advise on reorganizations and restructurings involving US multinational corporations and US subsidiaries
• Conduct tax due diligence for acquisitions involving US subsidiaries
• Prepare tax memoranda and technical opinions
• Communicate directly with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on behalf of clients regarding tax audits, notices, information requests, tax elections and other tax-related matters

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or US Tax Attorney
• Several years of professional experience in a tax advisory firm or within the tax department of an international company
• In-depth knowledge of US federal tax law
• Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of international tax treaties
• Ability to manage client engagements and project-related tasks efficiently, accurately and independently
• Fluency in both English and German
• High level of flexibility, discretion and commitment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in an international environment
• Trusted advisor and reliable point of contact for both clients and colleagues
