Aufgaben

ZEISS Industrial Quality Solution stands for pioneering measurement technology with more than 100 years of tradition. We develop and produce high-performance tactile, optical 3D and X-ray measuring devices and also offer suitable software solutions for analysing measurement data. With a strong and broad technology and software portfolio, comprehensive expertise and a global presence, ZEISS is a preferred partner in a wide range of industries, including electromobility, medical technology, additive manufacturing and aircraft construction.

In your new position in global product management, you will be responsible for identifying product development potentials and new product ideas. Together with the sales team, you will explore new applications and sales opportunities. Your key responsibilities include:

• Continuous monitoring and analysis of the market to ensure the competitiveness of the products and to identify trends

• Analysis and evaluation of (future) customer needs

• Collaboration with R&D to maintain the competitiveness of the products

• Deriving product differentiations and Unique Selling Propositions (USPs)

• Global product and price positioning of ZEISS products (hardware/software)

• Responsibility and implementation of the market launch of new products (including coordination of internal processes, e.g., in Operations & Service)

• Support in the creation of product information, sales kits, argumentation lists, webinars etc. to support sales teams worldwide

• Training the global sales organization and strengthening the internal network

• Care for key customers and pilot customers worldwide

Profil

• Completed technical degree in the field of physics, mathematics, or mechanical engineering

• Must-have: Several years of professional experience in measuring technology

• Proven success in product launches, e.g. in previous roles as a product manager or in technical sales

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, especially in large companies and on different stakeholder levels

• High initiative and willingness to take responsibility

• Strong analytical skills and structured working style

• Capability to quickly familiarize oneself with new complex topics

• Ability to successfully implement changes on organizational level

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written (German language skills are a plus)

• Willingness to travel for international assignments
