We are seeking a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to support our customers in Central Europe, with a primary focus on MCU hardware and software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in microcontroller technology and a passion for helping customers integrate our solutions into their designs. This role is based in Munich, Germany, and requires close collaboration with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure customer success. German language proficiency is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers in Central Europe, helping them design and implement GigaDevice MCU solutions.

• Work closely with R&D and product teams to ensure successful customer integration and resolve technical challenges.

• Conduct technical presentations, hands-on training, and product demonstrations to customers, partners, and distributors.

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their technical requirements and recommending optimal solutions.

• Collaborate with sales teams to drive customer engagements and support design wins.

• Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor products to provide strategic technical insights.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (equivalent to a 4-year college degree).

• Experience in MCU hardware and software development, including embedded system design, firmware development, and debugging.

• Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures, peripherals, and development tools.

• Experience with C/C++ programming, RTOS, and embedded system debugging tools.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers.

• Ability to work independently and travel within the Central Europe region as required.

• Fluency in English is required; German language proficiency is a plus.
